Characters: Blue or thorhombic crystal, density 2.284g/cm3. Cupric sulfate will gradually lose water at different temperatures. Cupric sulphate anhydrous is white powder; density: 3.603g/cm3; easily soluble in water, solubility in water at 25β: 23.05g/100g of water, insoluble in ethanol and ether; high hydroscopicity.
